What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
Last updated: November 2026
1. What we collect
Account details: your email address, display name, and profile information you choose to add, such as a bio or photo.
Your activity: posts, likes, comments, friend connections, and messages you send through the platform.
Basic technical data: device and browser information needed to keep the platform running and secure.
2. How we use it
To run the platform: showing your posts to friends, delivering your messages, and keeping your account secure.
To improve FaceChat™: understanding, in aggregate, which features people use so we can build what the community needs.
We will never sell your personal information. Ever. That is not how this platform earns.
3. Messages
Private messages are visible only to the sender and the recipient. We do not read your conversations, and they are not used for advertising.
4. Advertising
FaceChat™ plans to earn through advertising and special events. When ads launch, they will be clearly labelled, and we will not hand advertisers your personal details. This policy will be updated before any advertising begins.
5. Your choices
You can edit or delete your posts, comments, and profile information at any time.
You may request deletion of your account and the personal data attached to it by contacting us through the platform.
6. Security and changes
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfect, but protecting this community's trust is a duty we take personally.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and notify you in the app for significant changes.
